Calstone has made many advances in transitioning each area of our manufacturing process to be an environmentally sensitive process. Our goal is to have zero emissions from our facility and to be 100% off the grid within 10 years. We have succeeded in completing what we call “low hanging fruit” projects that are not too costly but have huge environmental benefits.

As a “green” company, we have conducted extensive research surrounding the importance of environmentally sound policies. We are passionate that we will inspire a new sensitivity about furniture and in partnering with you we will encourage change and work towards a healthier and more sustainable tomorrow. Our goals and objectives are intended to address environmental challenges that the manufacturing industry faces. We work hard on improving our performance through environmental research and technological advancements. We have made many changes to our manufacturing operation to improve upon our environmental footprint. We have an Environmental Policy which outlines the steps we have taken and plan to take in the near future. We continue to look at ways to improve ourselves and to promote economically sensitive and socially appropriate products to our customers. We will comply with all environmental laws and regulations which apply to the companies’ manufacturing operations and encourage the protection and restoration of the environment today for the security of tomorrow.
